Ever wanted to try printmaking but thought it looked too complicated? This workshop is a fun and surprisingly easy introduction to the art of linocut printing.

You’ll learn how to carve a simple design into a soft linoleum block, roll ink onto the surface, and press it onto paper to create bold, graphic prints. The process is a little bit like stamping, a little bit like carving, and very satisfying when your image appears for the first time.

No drawing experience is required. Simple shapes and patterns work beautifully in linocut, and Nicole will guide you through each step from design to carving to printing.

By the end of the session, you’ll have your own carved printing block and a set of handmade prints to take home.
